The room was small but beautiful.
I had very bad allergies from staying in the room. It must have been mould or dust in the room. The room was beautiful, but the allergies took away from enjoying the room.

I absolutely loved the charming and eclectic decoration of the hotel. The bohemian style added a unique and artistic touch to the place, making it feel cozy and inviting. The general areas were beautifully adorned with antique furniture and interesting artwork, creating a lovely atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with no stairs to climb and spacious hallways that made it convenient to navigate.
If I could make one suggestion for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more staff available to assist with any needs or questions. Sometimes, it seemed like there were not enough staff members to attend to all the guests, especially during busy times.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was wonderful and the hotel was comfortable.
The street noise at night might bother some people if you are a light sleeper.

It's a great hotel on an excellent location. Just around the corner is the central market square, city hall and all the shops you can wish for. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Tastefully decoreted hallways and room, if you like an old fashioned painting above the bed and antique-styled furniture in the room (which we do). And not unimportant: a very good bathroom!
Our room n° 32 was a good, fairly sized standard room in any other hotel, but here it was sold to us as a 'junior suite' - which it is not. Furthermore it has a very small window in the corner only, hardly letting in any daylight and giving no view at all. The fact the room is half way under the roof is cosy at nitgh but doesn't make it feel big either. Mind the 15 euro's per person extra for breakfast, another 18 euro's per day for parking (which is nevertheless a fair deal in Mastricht!) and tourist tax - adding up to another 50 euro per diem on top of the price. So yes, we had a good night of sleep but most probably will not return.

The hotel is located near lively streets for walking, with beautiful details from an old building. the room is quiet and the bed is very comfortable. the hotel offers excellent breakfast options, even for vegetarians and vegans.
The staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful, even towards other guests. They tried to upsell a more expensive room and didn't assist with parking.

The location is perfect for shopping and enjoying the city center. Room was pretty spacious, the bathroom was nice and the shower was perfect. Dogs were allowed for an extra amount.
Lots of coffee shops in the street though that cause shady types hanging around the hotel at night. Coffee machine with two complimentary cups was nice, too bad the old cups were still in the machine with the old water. Room had no airco and couldn't leave windows open as they were right on the street and no possibility to leave them only partially open.

We got great value for our money at Hotel D'Orangerie. The room was lovely, with stylish decor and a statement headboard on the bed. The location was excellent, just a few steps from the market square, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Menu for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

This hotel is a great find in the centre of the action. The value for money is excellent, with reasonable prices for such a convenient location. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the eclectic decoration in the rooms to the big bathrooms with a bath. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities are well-maintained. Breakfast is served and offers good value for a delicious start to the day.
All was fine, nothing to complain about.

The location was good for access to the main shopping area and tourist points of interest in Maastricht.
We did not think the room had a lot of functionality and we felt very cramped. The lighting was also extremely poor.
